DCi is honored to announce that the Nashville Women's Rescue Mission has won two prestigious awards at the ABC National Excellence in Construction Awards—the Eagle Award in the Public Service Category and a Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Award. This remarkable project was the only entry in this program year to receive a DBIA Award, further underscoring its industry-leading excellence in design-build construction.
The ABC Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards recognize the nation’s top projects, highlighting the highest levels of craftsmanship, innovation, and safety in the construction industry. The DBIA Award, in particular, acknowledges outstanding integration of design and construction, celebrating projects that embody collaboration and efficiency in delivering high-quality results.
“We are honored and so incredibly proud to see the Nashville Women’s Rescue Mission recognized nationally,” said Sean M. Foote, Director of Architecture at DCi. “It is amazing that a project rooted in serving the community’s needs, and providing a lasting impact on its citizens, has been honored for design and construction quality. It really is a testament to the power of the design-build process when the Owner, Architect, and Contractor all participate to serve those in need.”
A Project with Purpose
The Nashville Women’s Rescue Mission was designed to provide safe, dignified shelter and essential services for women experiencing homelessness. Working closely with the Mission, DCi played a pivotal role in ensuring the facility met the needs of its residents while staying within budget and schedule constraints.
The recognition of this project is a reflection of DCi’s commitment to innovative, mission-driven design that goes beyond construction—it transforms communities. We extend our gratitude to our dedicated team, project partners, and the Nashville Rescue Mission for trusting us with this important work.
